or whatever back into the upper plenum. As far as cons go, I don't know of any. I havn't noticed any since I removed mine..although, I have only gotten to put about 500+ miles on my car since I removed it, b/c it went in the body shop right after it was removed. I guess time will tell, but I'm not too worried. I heard that it raises intake tempos maybe? Not sure..I think I heard that somewhere here though. I guess that's something I'll notice more with the Texas heat getting warmer during summer. If it does cause as issue I'll post about it for yall. Also, if it matters where you're located, I got my car inspected without it and passed just fine (Thought I wouldn't). So you don't have to worry about that..which is nice. As far as removing it goes, dropping the tranny, using PB Blaster, using the 300degree kit, and removing the upper plenum are nice things to do. i have heard that you do not have to remove the upper plenum, but I did and I wouldn't bother with removing it with the plenum on..plus the plenum is a fast and easy part to remove, so you might as well to make removing the EGR system easier. Good luck!
